Architectural Review Committee is hereby established as a subcommittee of the Village Planning Commission to assist in maintaining and enhancing the architectural character and overall aesthetic appeal of the Village of Van Buren. The Committee shall review and make recommendations regarding proposed exterior modifications, additions, renovations, and other changes that may affect the overall appearance, architectural character, or aesthetic consistency of the Village. Such review shall include consideration of whether proposed changes are compatible with the surrounding area, maintain visual consistency, and complement the character of the Village of Van Buren.
