The Heartland Junior Golf Tour is pleased to announce the addition of several new Junior Golf Tournaments. These events, designed to incorporate 2 day events throughout the summer will provide an exciting and competitive arena for junior golfers looking to prepare for their upcoming high school season.
The series run by Coach Eric Heitkamp, of Van Buren High School was established to promote competition among those individuals looking for events with a strong field and on a golf course that provides them an opportunity to test all of their shots. These three golf courses were selected as they are "The Road to the State Championships" played at the District Tournament sites of Northwest Ohio.
Coach Heitkamp has coached high school golf for the past 20 years and has experience in running first class golf tournaments, having hosted such events as the Peg Kirk Bell Cup at Pine Needles and Mid Pines, North Carolina. The Black Knight Classic, JDL, Blanchard Valley Conference and multiple other events throughout Northwest Ohio.
These events will be played at outstanding courses located throughout the Northwest District of Ohio. We believe these events will help junior golfers gain competitive experience, buy playing in events hosted at the courses of great distinction.
